He is risen!

Look how sweet those cousins are...wait, isn't someone missing? I see a big space between Lily and Gavin...
That's right...Parker refused to participate, and ran into the garage. This was the best I could get of him.

Yes, we ARE having fun...can't you tell?

Easter Egg Hunt 2011

Since Phillip had to work, Parker and I spent the weekend down with both sets of grandparents. On Saturday, we went to our home church's Easter Egg Hunt. They had two bouncy houses; Lily and Abby really enjoyed them. Parker wanted to get in there, too, but anytime he got too close he chickened out. Will just hung out the entire time. He is seriously the best baby.

"Come on guys, I'm ready for some chocolate!"

Getting ready to begin...

Granddad and me trying to encourage Parker to grab more eggs..but once he realized what was inside the eggs..

...he found the nearest picnic table and sat down.

Before I forget

Four cute stories:
On Friday, we were driving to see baby Logan and Parker was in the backseat counting. I said, "What are you counting?" and he said, "Numbers." Yep, I promise he said it.

He also discovered the scar on my neck from my surgery. He said, "Mommy hurt?" It was precious. He was really concerned about it.

Today when we were driving home, a motorcycle passed by on the interstate. We were on the access road, so he couldn't see it from his car seat. However, he said, "I hear motorcycle!" Good ears.

On Sunday, I was in the kitchen. I heard him whining, but I ignored it because Phillip was in his room with him. Parker came in the kitchen and said, "Daddy hit me." I asked Phillip if this was true, and of course it wasn't. Hmmm..should I be concerned that he's already making up stories?

Always an adventure

Yesterday I got Parker some chicken from Wal-Mart..we were there around lunch, so I figured it would be a good snack for him. Anyway, after his nap, he wanted more chicken. I got it out for him and let him snack on it while we were playing outside. I put it back in the fridge, so he'd have some for lunch today...After I heated it, I poured it out on his plate and found a rock. Yep, I heated up a rock in the microwave.

Last weekend, we celebrated Abby's 4th birthday. Look how precious she is (background).
